I met the late Audrey Auld on a Fred Eaglesmith band tour back in 2012. Through her informal workshop style of songwriting and further encouragement, I started to write songs.     At first, I had other people record my songs while I learned to sing and play guitar.  Since then, I have advanced my skills through numerous classes and workshops.  My first CD, REFLECTIONS,  was released in 2018 and my second album, DODGING BULLETS,  was released in January, 2022.

I  have been able to create and play but have limited ability to tour my music due to some work-related injuries acquired a few years ago.  In spite of this, I've had incredible support from the songwriting and music community around Calgary, helping me to record and promote my songs.

Having witnessed the longevity and success of many older artists, I believe that music is a life-long adventure that can be undertaken and  pursued at any age.

I was born and raised in the country so my themes are generally traditional, rural-influenced and fall somewhere within the Roots & Blues - Country genre.
